Database Comparer VCL v 8.1

Download your free full featured trial of Database Comparer VCL components and learn how to use these components for your programming tasks.

This trial version includes all components of Database Comparer VCL (DB Comparer, Table Comparer, DB Extractor) along with DB Structure and related objects for Delphi and C++Builder. The trial version can operate inside Delphi / C++Builder IDE only, all other features are completely available without any restrictions.

When clicking the "Download" link, the zip-archived Database Comparer VCL installation will be downloaded. If you click the "Run Installer" link, the Database Comparer VCL installation will run immediately after downloading from our website.

The Database Comparer VCL installer copies and registers the trial version of the components in your RAD Studio IDE. The demo projects are copied to the Database Comparer VCL installation folder.

The "Help Documentation" link allows you to download the documentation for the Database Comparer VCL components in Microsoft HTML Help format.

You can uninstall Database Comparer VCL components from your computer if you no longer use it by clicking on the "Uninstall Database Comparer VCL" button within the Windows Start menu. You can also use Programs and Features in your control panel to uninstall the components.

Demos, Code Examples

The following example projects are available to demonstrate the functionality of Database Comparer VCL components. These are included in the Database Comparer VCL installer or by downloading zip-archived demo projects from the links below. (Note: The zip archives include both the source code and compiled demo applications. All compiled demos run directly without needing to be installed):

  Demos, Code Samples   Description
 DB Comparer (FireDAC) Compares, synchronizes and updates databases structure and table data. Connects to a Firebird database via FireDAC. Available starting from RAD Studio XE8.
 DB Comparer (IBExpress) Compares, synchronizes and updates databases structure. Connects to an IB database via IBExpress.
 DB Comparer (UniDAC) Compares, synchronizes and updates databases structure. Connects to a Firebird / Interbase database via UniDAC.
 DB Comparer (FIBPlus) Compares, synchronizes and updates databases structure. Connects to an IB database via FIBPlus. This demo is not available starting from RAD Studio 10 Seattle.
 DB Comparer (ADO) Compares, synchronizes and updates databases structure. Connects to a MS SQL database via ADO.
 Table Data Comparer Compares and synchronizes data between two database tables. This demo is not available starting from RAD Studio XE7. See also DB Comparer (FireDAC) and DB Comparer (IBExpress) demos.
 Table Data Comparer (Custom SQL) An example for TTableDataComparer, which shows how to compare and synchronize two Firebird DB tables using a user-defined SQL script to fetch records. The connection is implemented via the FireDAC library. Available starting from RAD Studio XE8.
 SQL Script Comparer Compares two database scripts and displays the resulting update script.
 Extract Metadata Extracts the database metadata and displays the script.
 Execute Local SQL Script Loads and executes a LocalSQL (BDE) script for local databases (Paradox, dBASE). This demo is not available starting from RAD Studio XE7.
 All Examples Download all examples in one archive, including the example databases.

Installing connections

If you want to use Database Comparer VCL with one of the supported connection libraries, such as FireDAC, UniDAC, DBExpress, ADO, BDE, DBX, IBX, FIBPlus, IBObjects, IBDAC, MyDAC, ODAC, ZeosLib, please open the corresponding .dproj project located within the sources folder, compile and install it.
